Shocking, or is it now??? From MSN.com.tw, translated by me…
“What I’d wanted to do the most? Kill! My dreams? Taking up the ENTIRE front page sections!”, how can a twenty-six year-old, with a father working as a manager in the finances, a mother with a higher education degree, have this sort of a goal in life?
From the end of 2007 to 2008, in just one short year, there were, over ten cases of random hackings in Japan, most of the criminals were from well-to-do backgrounds, with highly educated parents, did well in school since in their younger years, with good, well-paying jobs too, but, looking deeper into the families they came from, you’ll be shocked, to discover, just how many undetonated bombs there are, out in the world today.
“I want to cause trouble for my parents!”, They’d murdered countless innocent passersby on the roads
On an ordinary summer afternoon of June in 2008, Akiba gathered with fellow high-tech, anime fanatic friends, then suddenly, a small pickup truck sped onto the sidewalks, without pressing down on the brakes, running over many innocent locals, and finally, stopped, after ramming into the storefront. The driver got out with a small machete, and started hacking at anyone he saw, like he hated them all, and wanted them all to die!
“There was blood everywhere on the pavements!”, a witness recalled, shivering now. Aomori, a young man, was the culprit, of this large scale tragedy.
The murderer of the massacre of Akihabara was from Aomori, his father works as a manager for a bank, his mother, was from a well-known university, with her children excellent in every single way too. The family HAD no problems economically, and the parents are both, very active, in the education of their young.
This should be, supposedly, a family that people would want to be born into, and, nothing so awful can, come out of it, but the suspect’s younger brother, had gone to the press, and burst the bubbles of the façade of his picture-perfect family background.
“Once while we were having our meals, our mother got angry suddenly, then, spread out the papers, poured the miso, as well as the rest of the items for the meals onto it, and my older brother cried, as he ate it all up………”, the younger brother recalled, that any time when either one of them did something wrong, they would get severely physically punished, and their parents never told them what they did wrong, not even once! The neighbors recalled, “The older of the two boys would get scolded a lot from before, he’d gotten locked up outside in the winters, without enough clothes on.”
“What are you writing? Throw it out!”, recalling how when they were back in school, whenever their mother was displeased at what the brothers wrote, she’d thrown the sheets into the trash immediately. In order to make sure the two sons won the awards for writing, their mother would alter their writings, by writing on their behalf, making her two sons feel that they’re, no good at all!
After the older son went into middle school, the parents showed clear favoritism toward the younger son who performed better in school, making him feel, that his parents had, given up on him completely. And even as he did, get into his first choice high school, Aomori High School, he wasn’t the least bit happy. Their mother controlled the socializations, the friends they’d kept too, making them feel restrained. As the older son grew up, he’d blamed his mother: “because she’d tied me up, that, was why I’d become, so weak”, causing him to only start to date when he’d turned twenty-six.
“The eight years of life after high school, was the continual failure of me as a human being”, the older brother started, pouring his heart out online. And, as people ordinarily responded, to the more positive statements, causing the older son to become, even more isolated.
“I am all alone in the world, all alone online too, in order, for the world to notice me, I’m going to do something drastic!”, and, as a result, he’d caused the mass murder of seven and injuring ten in Akihabara.
The psychiatrist, Dorothy Otnow pointed out, “the cruelest of all perpetrators came out of the harshest family backgrounds”, looking at how this Japanese teen had ended up committing such heinous crimes against humanity, it’s, shocking.
And, this is still TRAGIC, as the family IS the maker, of this, mass murderer, and, this young man’s behaviors, were merely, an outcry for help, only that he’d used, such rash measures, to get heard, and it’s still, the parents’ faults, but the parents still don’t believe they’d done anything wrong by their young, are you FUCKING shitting me! It’s because of these parents who’d demanded perfection out of their young (as an overcompensation for their own imperfections???), that’s caused their young, to bottle everything up, until they’d, cracked, and did something drastic………
