The act of generosity of this woman is simply, amazing, from MSNNEWS.com…
Sarah Cummins was supposed to get married this weekend. The twenty-five year-old Purdue student had been planning her own dream wedding for two whole years, and saved up all her money from work to pay for the $30,000 event.
and here, is a photo of the woman, from MSNNEWS.com…
A week ago, she’d called off her wedding, and was left, with a broken heart, and a nonrefundable contract for a venue, and 170 already paid-for dinners.
After she’d cried hard over everything, she’d decided, to bring some purpose to her pain, contacted the Ritz, to rearrange the reception, and, she’d contacted the homeless shelters in Indianapolis and Noblesville, invited the residents to her party.
She’d also arranged for two busses to drive the homeless to her party, and take them back to the shelter afterwards.
And, this woman, despite how her wedding didn’t quite work out, she’d still, made something meaningful out of it. She’d shared her original joy of getting married with strangers who are homeless, and, by inviting people from homeless shelters to her reception, she’d made something meaningful to come out of her not getting married. And this, is how giving back feels: gives you a sense of purpose, she’d made something meaningful from her loss.
Hi, i read your blog occasionally and i own a similar
one and i was just curious if you get a lot of spam responses?
If so how do you stop it, any plugin or anything you can suggest?
I get so much lately it’s driving me crazy so any assistance is very much appreciated.

I don’t think WordPress allows for plug-ins, but you can search for spam protection for blogs online see if you can find something useful???

Great blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely confused .. Any suggestions? Many thanks!

If you’re not sure if blogging is what you want to do long-term, then, you should start on a free platform such as wordpress.com, and after you’d blogged a bit, and realize this isn’t what you want to do, then just close the account, and if you find that this is what you want to do long-term, then just continue writing on your wordpress.com account.
