It’s Great, Being Remembered

The time it took, to remember someone, making the world a little MORE connected, starting with, just ONE person, translated…

After my brisk walk in the early mornings of the weekend, I’d walked into the breakfast shop, the owner asked, “a set and unsweetened cup of soy milk, to go?”

My monthly haircut came, I’d entered into the salon, sat down, the barber, who’s like an old friend asked, “Short, showing the ears, right?”

not my comic…

Gone to the night markets, for the noodles, the young owner saw me, hollered, “Large, more cilantro?  Coming right up!”

These people in business must’ve encountered a ton of customers, I don’t go to them every day, and yet, they were able to, remember my preferences, it’s now just awing to me, but, also, very, heartwarming.  And so, I’d carried their thoughtfulness, to teaching my students as well

Every time I got a new class, I would remember all my students’ faces and names in the shortest possible time.  That way, I can blurt out, when they least expected, “Jen-Shuan, would you like to come up and give it a try?”  or, “Hong-Jia, a great question you’d, posed!”, watching their surprised looks, I was, reaffirmed, that it’s great, being, remembered.

So, this, is the heart, one carries in business, to remember your customers by names of faces, that makes the customers feel that much closer to the owners of business, and, this isn’t usually easy at all, as, when you worked in the stands, the shops, there are, endless number of people that comes and goes, in and out, and, to be able to, remember everybody’s name and/or orders, that takes a lot of mind and heart!
