This, is considered, a LAW, of the stories of heroes, I suppose???
All the heroes that we know of, from the stories (i.e. mythologies, etc., etc., etc., etc.) all lost something, that sets them off, so to speak, to make their into the heroes they turned out to be…
Take Heracles for instance, didn’t his family (wife and children) get brutally murdered, before he’d killed ALL those monsters (as his tasks to prove his own worthy of living among the gods???)? Or, how about Odysseus in the Odyssey? Didn’t he also, have to go through the trials after the war, to finally, make it home to his wife and kids?
kinda, like that…
That, is the thing: heroes must suffer through something insurmountable, like losing their families, their loved ones, becoming so totally, isolated, in order, to find their strengths from within, which is probably why, these stories of heroes are, oh so very, tragic, if you read that much into them.
So, if you want to be a hero (whatever THAT means in these days???), ask yourselves this: am I really, ready, to lose the things I cared deeply about, those whom I loved and loved me dearly, if not, then, don’t make that W-I-S-H, ‘cuz, you just might, get it!!!
