Faking His Death? Get the Insurance Payoffs? He’d Murdered His Older Brother, Cut His Palms Off, and Set His Corpse on Fire

As the investigations carried on, this, is what they’d found, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

The Man, Lin, from Taichung Had His Carotid Severed, and His Palms Cut Off, the Police Chased the Car, and Caught the Suspect, the Younger Brother of the Victim; the police Found, that the Suspect Had an Active Arrest Warrant for Fraud, and He Skipped Out, the Deceased’s Face Was Totally Disfigured, the Palms Were, Chopped Off, So, No Fingerprints to Identify Him by, But in His Pockets, Were the Driver’s License of the Suspect, Lin, They’d Suspected that the Motives of the Murder Was, Faking Death, to Evade Arrest, the Police Believed there to be Accomplices, and After They’d Interrogated the Primary Suspect, They Took Him into Custody, and is Still Looking to See if Other Suspects are Involved.

The forty-eight suspect, Lin denied having murdered his older brother by eight years, claimed that they got into an altercation, and his older brother got out as he was driving, and he didn’t know where he went or what’d happened to him. But, the forensic showed the blood of the victim inside the suspect’s car, and it’s been confirmed, that the younger brother has something to do with the murder of his older brother now. Other than both the victim’s palms being severed off, there were clear external wounds on the back of the neck, the police aren’t ruling out that the victim was drugged first, they’d taken his hair sample, his blood sample, and his internal organs to see if they’d tested positive for drugs.

This murder was suspected to be related to cheating in gambling, but the police believed, that usually, the mob would “take care” of cheating in gambling with cutting off the victims’ fingers, that severing off the hands, are usually something stronger, or to prevent the identification of the victim.

The police stated, that there was a driver’s license from Lin, the suspect in the back right pocket of the deceased, that at first, they thought it was Lin’s brother who was murdered, until they’d tracked the car with the surveillance cameras, they’d discovered that Lin, the suspect was still living, that there was, a pool of blood in his car, and, after the forensic examinations, it was a match with the deceased, and they’d identified the deceased as the suspect’s own older brother.

The police investigated and found, that Lin the suspect, was sentenced to a year in prison for attempted to scam, and has an active arrest warrant out on his by the Taichung’s D.A.’s Office; they’d suspected that he’d chopped off the palms and setting the body on fire, placing his own license on the victim, was to fake his own death, so he wouldn’t need to serve any time in prison.

But, because the deceased was left on the main roads, with ten shell casings, the police believed, that the suspect may not have done it, just to avoid the year-long jail sentence he was supposedly to be serving, that they suspected, that there was, more to it than that, that it may be related to the insurance claims, and the police are not ruling out that the suspect may have had accomplices, and are still chasing the leads.

So, this, is what they thought happened, and, there are, multiple reasons, that this man may have, murdered his own older brother, and because the details aren’t all found out yet, the police still needed more investigation, to determine why this tragedy had, occurred. But this also shows, how easily someone can murder his own next of kin, to rid himself of all of his priors!
