Carrying the Steamed-Up Packed Lunches to Class, on the Lunch Hour

Ahhhhhh, these, were the memories, of our younger years!!! Translated…

As I was on the music track back in the middle school years, there were, only three boys in the class, the girls ruled the classrooms, and, the guys would have to go to the kitchens, and bring back the keg of soup, as well as the servings of the nutritious lunches provided for by the schools, they’d walked outside under the scorching sun of the noon hours, and by the time they got back, they were, usually, drenched. Once, they’d brought back the sesame buns, but, they got bored, and started, swinging the lunch racks around, and, several times, they’d swung the lunch racks to almost tipping over, the three guys hollered aloud in ecstasy, kept claiming “higher, higher!”, but, they’d, missed, and the stainless steel lid flew off, the sound of metal, hitting the ground, over half of the sesame buns flew out, fell to the ground, the moment the three bore witness to this, they were all, stunned. After they’d returned back to class, they’d pretended as if nothing had happened, but, the buns covered in granulated sand still made us, ladies suspicious, and, they finally came out with the truth after we’d, grilled them hard on it, after their stupid deed was found out by the instructor, our instructor grilled them hard, and, punished all three guys to stand outside the classrooms during the nap hours, and ordered them to return the buns in sum back to the kitchens. In the heat of the noon hours, they’d timdly, lifted the entire set of buns back to the kitchens, but thankfully, the kind-hearted lunch lady was willing to switch the entire batch, but unfortunately, because of the scare, none of us, dared, taken a bite out of the clean and untainted batch anymore.

So, this was probably, a very interesting memory for you, and, that just shows, how when the boys get bored, they’d start, misbehaving, and this time, their misbehaviors had, impacted the entire class, and thinking back, it is, something you’d, remembered the clearest, out of a lot of your memories from your schooling years.

the kind of packed lunch we used to have, brought home from school, and heated up in the steamers in our separate classrooms, photo from online…
