She’d Taken the Runaway Teenage Girls on a Hiking Trip Again, She Was Taken into Custody

Thankfully, the runaway was found, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

A fifteen-year-old, Yen from Taichung, lost contact with her families since April 12 when she’d left home, the police found, that she went hiking up the Chilai Mountain with the female mountain guide, Chang who was nicknamed “White Frost”; two days ago, the police caught up with Chang, and yesterday, the police were able to recover the teen, Yen, who had been missing for twenty-five days in the workers’ shack, at the nine kilometer’s mark of Taroko National Park Trails.

Chang had records of hiking up the Black Mountains, and denied the accusations of her being the ring leader who’d kidnapped young adolescent girls, “White Frost”, she’d provided her identification card, to prove that she wasn’t the person; this time, Yen leaving home without telling her parents, her parents notified the police and tracked down her real identity, found, that she’d posed herself as the adolescent male, “White Frost”, as the police asked her about it, she’d, fallen silent. Last night, the police had charged Chang with abandonment and enticement, and sent her to the Taichung’s D.A.s Offices, after the D.A. interrogated her, they’d mandated her to be taken into custody, on a $200,000N.T. bail.

“The moment she saw me, she’d started running”, the adolescent, Yen, was found by the volunteers, Jing and Wu, the two adults showed that they were, friendly, that, was when Yen let her guards down, and told them about her life in the mountains, she and Chang had used the simple food items to satisfy, and lived for days on end, in the worker’s shack at the 12 kilometer marker, “this was the first time I’d gone hiking, at first, I’d felt tired and fatigued, but, after awhile, I’d gotten, used to it”.

Yen was found, at about 2,600 meters above sea level, at nine kilometers in, to the Taroko Research Pass, Yen worried that she might be interrogated, and didn’t want to go with the adults down the mountains, but, fter Jing was able to convince her, she’d gone with him, but, half way down, she’d told him, “I’m tired of living in the mountains.”

The polie pointed out, that in February, Yen went to Taipei to the comic shows, and met Chang, who loved dressing up as the various anime characters, the two of them started discussing their interests in anime, and other areas of interests; by mid-March, Yen changed her display picture on her FB pages to a photo with her and Chang; on April 12, after she’d finished her study sessions at school in the evenings, she’d, left home.

Chang and Yen had, lived together in the mountains for over ten days, they didn’t have any food left, two days ago, as Chang hiked down to get more sustenance, she was arrested at the Tien-Xiang Parking Lot by the police, she’d admitted to hikding with Yen, but refused to disclose her whereabouts to them.

So, this, is what drew the teens to each other, because they were lonely, and, this young woman abused the teen’s trust, and, kept her locked up, because she’d, preyed on her needs of belonging, and because teenagers are still developing, and not yet able to, see the whole picture, that, is why in this case, this teen was, targeted, and, was taken away by this woman.
