To Intubate, or Not to Intubate, THAT, is the Question

To intubate, or not to intubate, that, is the question! As humans enter into the era of living long, a lot of members of the human population will experience never-before encountered illnesses (i.e. dementia, Parkinson’s, etc., etc., etc.), and, there would come a time, when we have to decide, whether or not, to keep our loved ones alive, because we can’t bear to let go (therefore, elongating their sufferings???), or we should, stop the doctors from resuscitating them.

And, all this discussion won’t feel real, until, you’re, RIGHT outside of that O.R., watching someone you loved (i.e. parents, grandparents, etc., etc., etc.) being resuscitated by those medical professionals, and, whatever the HELL those medical professionals recommended you do, may still cause you to have regrets, and, it’s, a NO-WIN for you!

To intubate, or NOT to intubate, that, is the question! So, what’s your call, huh? Are you going to, leave the ones you loved behind, in that split moment when you’re, forced to decide on life OR death? There’s, NO way you can properly answer THAT question, until, you’d, faced it, head on.

So, whatever your opinions on this matter, is all invalid, because, the moment had come, for you, to die yet, but, it can never hurt, having that DNR and your living will written and signed, with a notary public (i.e. your attorneys????) present as a “witness”!
