Goodbye, to the innocence of the childhood years, we are now, separated by the differences of our genders, we can, no longer play freely, beat on each other, and, we’d needed to, separate ourselves, and stand in either of the lines labeled as boys OR girls.
Goodbye, to the innocence of the childhood years, you never know to miss them, until, they’re, gone, for good. Those times, that we’d gone swimming without our bathing suits and swimming trunks by that small creek, remember? Or how we lay on that patch of green, gazing up at the fading light in the skies as the night draws in, and falling asleep?

Goodbye, to the innocence of the childhood years, and, you will, feel sad, feel like, you’d lost something that’s important to you, but you can’t describe what it is. Well, that’s growin’ up for you, and, NOBODY can stay a young child forever, we all lose our innocence, it’s just, a matter of time, until, we’re, ALL exposed!
Goodbye, to the innocence of the childhood years, no more playing out all day long in the sun, NO more staring at the ceilings, daydreaming your lives away. You’re, BURNING daylight, and, you ain’t, gettin’ NO younger, you’re already, in your teens, twenties, thirties, forties, half-way into the graves! How much time will you waste???
