Sometimes, we’d spent our whole lives, waiting for the one who never showed, and we don’t know what drove us, to keep waiting on!
Waiting for the one who never showed, it’s, a pointless feat, because s/he is NEVER going to show, like how our parents had, abandoned us in our younger years, left us, in that huge, emotional wasteland, with absolutely NO support whatsoever, and we’d still, survived, barely, but, we’re, at least, still breathing, aren’t we?
not my photograph….
And, because of this earliest encounter of being abandoned by the ones who should love us unconditionally, but never had, we’d gotten, into that bad habit of, waiting endlessly, for the one who never showed!
Until we realize this about ourselves, and realized, that this endless waiting IS doing to us, how it’s, turning our lives upside down, along with the ADVERSE effects this waiting had on our lives, and decide for ourselves: hey, I don’t want to WAIT no more!!!, we will, NEVER SNAP out of it…
And thus, we became, stuck, as little boys and girls, still, waiting on mommy and daddy to love us, save, that the people we waited on, are no longer mommies and daddies, but boyfriends/girlfriends and/or husbands/wives (one at a time!).
