As Loneliness Works Its Way into Our Childhoods

As loneliness works its way, into our childhoods, we were, so very young, and couldn’t keep it out, and before we know it, loneliness, started, swallowing us whole. It’d become, our constant companions, like that tag-along little brother or little sister that just, won’t stop following us around!

nobody I can play with!  Not my photo…

As loneliness works its way, into our childhoods, as we’d sensed its presence, we’d started, panicking, as loneliness is something that’s awful, or, so we’re, socialized to believe. As loneliness works its way into our childhoods, we found ourselves, CORNERED by it, there was, NO place we can escape to, and, despite how uneasy loneliness made us all feel, because we can’t rid ourselves of it, we’d, lived with it.

As loneliness works its way into our childhoods, we forced ourselves, to grow up fast as we possibly can, because in our young minds, that, was the only way, we can, lose that loneliness, that’s, right behind our tails………

not my photograph…

And so, we’d become, lonely adults, ‘cuz, turns out, loneliness that works its way into our childhoods is, there to stay, and, once it’d, set up roots, it will never, GO away!!!
