This woman, was intelligent enough, to KNOW what her husband cared about the most, and she was, able to, use THAT against him, but, so what if, he’d, dropped the thought of getting a divorce this time???

Mrs. G and her husband were students who’d gone abroad to study before, they were living in a foreign place, although they both worked, but the money they’d saved still wasn’t enough to buy a house; G asked her own parents to borrow the money, and bought a house with a big yard. And, although she’d signed the papers that she’d taken out a loan from her parents, but, the elders said, that the money was saved for her, that she’d not needed to repay them back, so long as she’d made monthly deposits to give to her parents, and that she’d not needed to let her husband know.
Her husband makes a lot of money, but, is very stingy, and, they’d split up the costs, and separated everything down the middle. G couldn’t make as much money, and, after deducting the expenses, there wasn’t much money left, and, after she’d had two kids, the money became, even tighter. She’d saved all she could, and only bought a lipstick, to make herself look a bit more energetic, and, only gone shopping for clothes at the end-of-season sales; and, looking at her husband, he was, well-dressed up. Over thirty years passed, the children both graduated universities, and, married, moved to another state, her husband had a good retirement pension offer, and is now, retired early, while G still had to, work for several years on end.
Her husband lived on leisurely for six months, and finally decided to return back to Taipei. He’d gone exercising, line-dancing at Da-An Forest Park every single day, he’d looked like a gentleman, and gone to get his degree in the States, and, the group of lonely single women all came towards him, everybody wanted a piece of him. There were, signs of him, straying, G’s classmate had, called her up to warn her about the ladies too.
She’d kept everything down, while as her husband returned to the States, and asked her for a divorce. G agreed very quickly, and reminded him, that the house they lived in, as well as the estate they’d invested in on the West Coast, she has half of the rights over, that he’d needed to, pay her the sum based off of the housing prices. The housing prices had sank to an all-time low in the U.S., and her husband, who’d loved money didn’t want to, split the money to give it to her, and he’d calmed himself down, thought about it, that G worked hard, took care of the family all this time, unlike how the women he’d met, only wanted something from him, after he was awakened by this, he’d stopped, mentioning of divorce to her.
A My Advice:
There are, often, trials of a marriage, and how you strengthen your own economical values, can help you a lot in these critical times. G didn’t ask her husband about the other ladies, nor did she make a huge scene out of the matter, she knew how much her husband loved money, that he couldn’t bear the thought, of losing HALF of his assets through divorce, and, she’d, gambled on what he’d feared most: losing money, thankfully, it’s a bet she’d, won.
This would be, the best case scenario, but, think about it, even IF the husband returned, why the F*** (pardon the “French), would this woman still want him? I mean, she’d stayed beside him, through the harder times, and now, they’re finally, living off easy, and her husband gets easily swayed, and, even IF he’d come back to her, it’s only because she’d THREATENED to take away HALF of ALL his assets, and, this LOSER chose to stay with his wife (this time), because of money, and, who’s to say, that he won’t run out quick, after the money’s totally gone, huh? And, why would ANYBODY be STUPID enough, to WANT a loser who doesn’t care about her back?
