She’d Used the Cloth Hangers to Abuse Her Two-Year-Old Toddler, the Toddler Went into Shock, Sustaining Serious Physical Injuries

A mother in her twenties in Kaohsiung was suspected of physically disciplining his own two-year-old son, last night, she? found her son to be ?ot quite right?? took him to the hospitals, the little boy already showed NO sign of life, after the hospital resuscitated him, he? regained his pulse back, but still went into shock, and was transferred into the Kaohsiung Medical School Hospital? I.C.U. for observations, the police and social workers had stepped in, to investigated.

Based off of understanding, the toddler? mother told the social workers, ?y son touched things he wasn? supposed to, so, I? disciplined him with a hanger.?? but her claims don? match up to the injuries of the young child at all.

The Kaohsiung Medical School Hospital stated, that there were bruising in the young boy? head, and in the front AND the back of his body, there were, bruises too, there were, bruises and wounds, covering up his little body, that it was, heart wrenching to see.

The Department of Social Services stated, that the child wasn? flagged as abused from before, and the family didn? have the status of receiving low-income assistance, they? immediately placed the boy, and asked the courts to continue with his placement with a foster family now.

The Social Services Department pointed out, the mother had to work in the evenings, and couldn? look after her son, and two years ago in July, she? asked the Social Services Department to place him in foster care, and the mother would visit the young boy regularly, last September after she married again, she? stopped working, and applied to get the boy back into her custody again; the child only started living with his mother just this January, and in March, he was hospitalized, for suspicions of being abused.

So, this, is a CASE of unfitting parent, once again, and, even IF a child misbehaves, the adults should try and decipher the REASONS for WHY the kid was acting up, instead of resorting to using physical discipline right away, and this mother was, still an unfit, and she? just, WAY too young, with absolutely NO clue of how to care for her own young child.
