A hit-and-run, leading to DEATH! From the Front Page Sections, translated…

A electric engineer contractor, Cheng was suspected of driving drunk, killing a motorist who’s riding at the same direction as he, Chen, his involvement is yet to be confirmed. Afterwards, Cheng not only had his son to take the fall for the hit-and-run, he’d also taken the $600N.T. the deceased had on him, after the officers investigated, they’d charged Cheng with involuntary manslaughter, hit-and-run, along with other charges, and his son also was charged for taking the fall for what his father did.

The police investigated, two days ago, after Cheng (age 47) had gathered with his friends, he’d driven his son in his high-end car to an “afterparty” of sorts, as he’d passed through the intersection of Taiti E. Road and Hsinlong Road, he’d not kept his eyes on the road, and, he’d crashed into Chen (age 20) riding his motorcycle, and Chen died of intracranial hemorrhage.

As the officer, Chiang arrived on scene, Cheng’s son claimed that he was the one driving, and, Cheng pretended he’d just arrived to see what had happened. Chiang smelled alcohol from Cheng, and thought that something didn’t add up, he took Cheng’s son back to the station first to interrogate; he’d reviewed the traffic surveillance footage and found, that after the crash, the man who got out of the driver’s side was wearing a white shirt, but, Cheng’s son was wearing a blue flower printed shirt, and, the footage also showed Cheng in his white underwear, picking up the cash from the crash site, and that was when Cheng’s son admitted to attempting to take the fall for his father.

After Cheng went to the hospital to see how Chen was doing, he’d returned home, the police chased him there, and that, was when he’d stated, that he was too nervous after the crash, that he’d made the mistake in his statements, saying that his son was driving; the police found the $600N.T.s inside Cheng’s pocket, to which he’d told them, that he’d intended to give it to the police, but because of how stressed out he became, he’d, forgotten.

Chen’s family said, that Chen rode out on his motorcycle to get a drink, that on the way, he’d gotten into a fatal crash, they’d demanded the police to find out what happened to him, to make whoever’s responsible pay.

So, this LOSER set a BAD example for his own son, and, he’d attempted get his son to take the fall for him, so he wouldn’t have to deal with his own involvement in the vehicular manslaughter, and on top of that, he’d, gotten away with the $600N.T.s that the deceased had on him too! Setting an AWFUL example for his own son, and he’d attempted to, weasel his way out of being caught, but, he was still, CAUGHT!
