There is, this large group of kids, who are, disconnected, because they live in their own little worlds, and, the rest of the outside world, can’t find their ways in!
And, these kids, keeping to the ONLY way they know how to live life, are, isolated by the rest of their surrounding areas, because, nobody takes the time, to try and understand their needs. Disconnected kids, they don’t, become “normal”, NOT through correctional methods (disciplinary measures, punishments!), and they may not respond well to the ordinarily-used system of rewards and punishment that may work for the other, “normal” children either…

But, there’s, that way, that you can, help them reach out, to help them understand, the rest of the outside world, and for the rest of the outside world, to understand them, you just have to, figure out, HOW, and, that, is a trial-by-error basis, and, there’s, NO way, you’ll, STRUCK gold the first time you try, even IF you think you’re, MORE than lucky!
So, in order, to help these disconnected kids to get reconnected with the rest of the “normal” world, you will have to have, EXTRA patience, put in the EXTRA hours, sit with them, after class, during break time, at lunch, to try to understand them.
And, if you are patient enough, and work hard enough, then, maybe (it’s not a definite, however!!!), the kids will feel, safe enough, to open up to you too.
