Not enough choice from before, and now, enough choice, but, you’d, fallen, into your old habits of choosing, translated…
Before middle school, lunchtime was so scheduled like a formula of sorts.
from when you were in school…
consisting of rice, two items of vegetables, one of protein, and a soup…not my photograph…
Getting the rice, getting the foods, scooping up some soup, let’s eat. In the elementary years, after the lunches were served, we’d even, sung that thank you song. Those school-provided nutritious lunches, tasted the same on our tongues, with NO other objections.
We had more freedoms back in high school, we could order the boxed meals, but, there was, the shops that’s made the lunches for us, and the most popular was the one the foods came, with one entrée there was the lambs too, with the set items of lamb, vegetables, chicken strips with stewed eggs; then, there’s, the small gazelles, a smaller lunch, with the occasional fried quarter legs as the entrée, the selling point being that it’s cheap, only $30 per box.
and now…
we still have, protein, vegetables, fruits, and fiber…NOT my photograph…
And soon enough, we’d gone around. And, the same things every day made us all tiresome. And, having had too much of the same sorts, it’d made us feel the oiliness, the overcooked food items, to the point that it seemed, a bit, spoiled and rotting away. But back then, I’d rarely contemplated: what, will I have, for lunch?
As I’d started working, I’d gained a lot more freedom for lunch, I’d often wondered about what I would be having but, most of the time, before I’d made my decisions, lunch hour had, flown past, and so, I’d, found something that’s convenient, or get one of those microwaved lunches from 7-11. Later on, I’d realized, that I kept getting the same foods, that this boring, bland way of what’s for lunch, had, never actually, left me, since my schooling careers.
So, there’s, NOT much to choose from, even AFTER you were allowed to make your own choices on what to have for lunch, because, although the foods served is now, different, but, the styles to which you’re choosing what you’re having for lunch is still the same, and, you may start to, miss those days, when you didn’t have to WRECK your brains on what to buy for lunch, because it’d been, planned out for you already, and, the lunches that were served in those younger years of schooling, they’re usually, high on nutritional values…
