Things this five-year-old kid understood about how humans are MURDERING the animals in the wild! From the Newspapers, translated…
“The sea turtles would be misled into thinking that the plastic bags are jellyfishes, and after they’d consumed them, they’d, die, so, that, is why I’m helping to pick up the trash on the beaches today.” a five-year-old girl, Chang was involved in the clean-beach activities yesterday, but, her childish words had, point4ed out the issue of too much garbage left on the beaches.
The Keelung environmentalist, Chen noted himself as “The garbage collector of the beaches”, since two years ago, he’d started calling on volunteers, to help clean up the beaches and the creeks all around, from the start of his volunteer movement, there were only four members of the public who were involved, to yesterday, it’d attracted 145 members of the community to get involved, there were, more and more who got involved each and every single year. Yesterday he’d started the volunteer actions of “Sunny All the Time”, called out to members of the community, to help pick up the trash left on the beaches, and, there were members of the public ages five to seventy-seven who got involved, they’d managed to clear off a total of 3,570 kilograms’ worth of garbage.
Chen stated, “The Taiwanese people are not lacking in anything, but that sense of public divinity”, although it was raining yesterday, but, there were more from the public who came to get involved, and there were, more trash than Chen expected to see get cleared off; the next volunteer opportunity will be at Yeliou, he’d hoped, he could, get more members of the public involved.
He’d also stated, that the two dead sea turtles found on the Devil’s Beach in Wanli is reminding us, that the conditions of the environment worsening is progressing faster than expect3ed; he will be heading to the fishing ports, to take out the trash, or to go on a ship, to pick up the trash in the oceans, to reduce the mistaken intakes from the sea turtles.

Ms. Su who lives in Taipei said, this, was the very first time she got involved in volunteer to clean up the beaches, she’d found so many shoes, she was, surprised; the seventy-seven-year-old Grandma Lu also thought, that it was a good thing, that she can, give something, to help the environment.
Chang’s mom said, taking her daughter to volunteer to clean up the beaches is WAY more effective than teaching her young about the importance of not throwing things away onto the beaches, she’d also made up her mind, to reuse and recycle the materials she will be using from here on out.
So, this, is something meaningful, isn’t it? Getting EVERYBODY involved, and, by getting involved, these volunteers got a closer look at how we’re, making this adverse effect on the environment, and it’s a good program, for it brings about awareness of the amount of TRASH we are leaving behind, and it’s also educational, in the sense, that people who were involved, will become, even MORE aware, so they would not make so much trash…
