It’s a crime of passion AND a crime of opportunity, and this LOSER still got caught, from the Front Page Sections, translated…
The registered driver, Chen last year, while giving a woman who’d passed out from drinking a lift home, instead he’d driven her to a motel and raped her. The Taoyuan District Courts found him guilty of rape, and gave Chen a seven year four month sentence in prison yesterday; this, was the very FIRST case of an Uber driver raping a customer.
After the case busted out, Uber stated, that after the team received the reports, they’d immediately terminated the contract they had with Chen, and FIRED him, and took away the right to get driving opportunities through their platforms.
The Taoyuan District Court investigated, that Chen (age 35) last year at around three in the morn on August 15th, was sent out by the Uber platforms, to Linseng N. Road to pick up a woman. As Chen arrived, he saw that the young hottie was dressed in provocative clothing, was close to plastered from drinking, claimed that she needed a lift to Ximenting to meet up with a friend to continue the party at a karaoke. As he drove to Ximenting, because the woman was too drunk, she’d forgotten the name of the night club, and passed out on the cab, Chen believed that there was an opportunity, and, drove her to a motel in Taoyuan where he’d raped her.
And this, is still, a crime of opportunity, and the woman IS responsible for what happened to her too, she shouldn’t have gotten so plastered, but she had, and this still just shows, how even IF this is a government sponsored cab program, you still can’t possibly KNOW the level of morality of these drivers personally, or if they will take advantage of someone in a situation like this.
