Last year, a man named, Jeng hacked at a police officer stationed at the MRT station, the Shihlin District Court yesterday made a verdict, the judge believed that Jeng had, belittled the powers of a law enforcement officer, committed a serious crime, but due to his diagnosis of Schizophrenia, the judge gave him eight-and-a-half years sentence in jail for the attempted murder charges, and after he’d served his time, or if he ever was pardoned, he will be kept in custody for three more years afterwards.
“I hate cops, I’d used so much force, because I wanted, to KILL him.”, Jeng claimed, that during the time he lost his job, he’d sought out assistance from the related government units, but, they’d not given him a hand, and so, he’d started, feeling animosity toward government officials, later on, as there was a news story on how police officers are writing out tickets, that, was when he’d started, hating the police officers.
The verdict stated, that Jeng followed the police officer, Huang, all the way from MRT Taipei Main Station to New Beitou Station, and, as he was turning inward, about to enter into the trains, he’d taken the advantage, and STABBED and HACKED at Huang’s back, head and his right forearms. As Huang was covered in blood, he’d, dragged Jeng out of the MRT trains using a self-defense measure, another security officer that helped ship money for the Bank of Taiwan saw, and worked together with Huang, to arrest Jeng.
Jen has a mental disability record, suffered serious delusions, doubted that the injection that his dentist gave him had made him impotent. The judge pointed out, that although Jeng is diagnosed with schizophrenia, but, as he was committing the offense, he’d, followed Huang to a desolate area of the MRT station, and, after the victim had his back toward him, then, he’d, stabbed him that he’d known, what he’d done was wrong afterwards, that he does, have an understanding of right and wrong, that Jeng had, overlooked the powers of the officers on duty, and also caused unsettlement for the other passengers, that he needed to be punished severely.
So, this, is a hacking, caused by a mental illness, because this man has the delusions about police out to get him, and because he’d just gotten upset, on how the government wasn’t giving him enough assistance in his job hunt, so, he’d, scapegoated to this officer that he’d bumped into at the MRT station, and, eight and a half years is still too lenient if you ask me, because, what IF he got out, and, felt wronged again, and, MURDERED someone else next time???
