The night called out, “Come on out, and play, it’s dark, but, we’ll have, tons of fun, I promise!”, because we were young and naïve, believed, that NOTHING bad could ever happen to us (there goes, the INVINCIBILITY FABLE!!!), we’d, taken night’s hand, and, it’d, led us out…
We followed the night, and, at first, the ride was, smooth-flowing, there were, still those, lights in the distance, so, it’s not, completely, darkened and we can still see, but, as the night rolled on, it got, darker, and colder, and more, desolate. And, I’d, felt a chill down my spine, a sense of something bad ‘bout to happen! I was, scared, but, you’d, urged me on…

So, we followed the night, and, it’d, led us, down this darkened road into the woods, and, the night left us there, with ALL the wild creatures, the wolves, the bears, the MONSTERS, lurking in the darkness, and we were, abandoned, by the night.
We followed the night, like how we’d, allowed that puppy, to lead us places, and, with our, one-track-minds, we became, too focused, on the night, and not known, that we’re, no longer, in the realms of life we’re, familiar with, we’d become, strangers, in a totally, strange land now.
