One of the ways, that the Department of Health & Sanitations here came up with, to resolve the problems of younger generations of children being ADDICTED to logging online, from the Front Page Sections, translated…
The statistics on the Internet Usage of students done by the Department of Health & Sanitations showed, that there are, 2.8 percent of the school age children who showed signs of high levels of online addiction, and, the middle school and elementary school students are the highest among the groups. The physicians suggests, that the parents should reason with their own children, as forcing their young OFF the online usages would only cause the opposite of what the parents wanted to achieve.
do this…not my photo
The writer has a very unique case of online addiction. About a decade ago, before internet services wasn’t in every household, this particular student was found, to show signs of addiction to online usage, it wasn’t because of how he’d arrived to school late in the day, instead, he’d, shown up at school before six-thirty in the morn, became the “early-to-rise” student of his class every single day.
Until one day his parents came hurriedly to school to find him, everybody learned, that this student woke up at three in the morn, and, reported to the net cafés early, and, by six in the morning, he’d, come to school. And his mom woke up at around five to go to the bathrooms, and, was shocked to discover, that her son went “missing”, and, she’d searched for him around the neighborhood, couldn’t find him, and she’d, finally, come to school to look.
The writer advise the parents, to take the children outdoors on the weekends, to introduce them to the wonders in nature, as the children fall in love with nature, and enjoy the fresh breaths, who, would like to stay in the darkened rooms of, the net cafés, without the open air flows?
instead of this…not my photo still…
So, this expert suggests, diverting the children’s attention to something else, in this case, the outdoors, and, surely enough, there are, so many wonderful sights to see outdoors, but, it’s just, that the kids had been, going to school Monday to Friday, morning ‘til night (yes, I’d, included the afterschool programs too!!!), and, on the weekends, they just want to, veg out, and, stare at a computer screen, to relax!
