This would be, when the child is forced, to take up responsibilities to ACT like the parents, taking care of the parents’ emotional needs, because the parents are, incapable of taking care of their own young, and, used their young children like their significant others!
Parentification is a term coined by Schmideberg (don’t ask me who THAT is, ‘cuz I don’t know!!!) back in 1948, on the emotional deprivations in the parents’ lives, leading them, to use their kids like their parents. (from online…).
This, is really BAD, because NO kid deserves this sort of SHIT in her/his life, but as children, we have the tendency to put our parents’ needs before our own, after all, we’d needed them, to live off of (for survival’s sake???), so, we basically, got emotionally BLACKMAILED by the two people who are supposed to love, to care for us, but never could, because they can’t even take care of their own separate needs, and each other’s, so, how the FUCK (don’t pardon me here!!!) can they possibly have the mind, to give a SHIT about us, and, we’re still, their young here………
Parentification based off of MY understanding, seeing how this is still MY website, whatever I say still G-O-E-S??? Is simply how when a child is forced, to take up the role of the ADULT interacting with the family, and, a kid who grows up like that, has, NO childhood, her/his innocence had long been, stolen, because that, is what’s, required, for this kid to SURVIVE!!!
