What can cause a man to lose completely control, that he’d, swung so god DAMN hard, it’d, ruined his coworker’s life, I wonder??? From the Front Page Sections, translated…
A man, Du was displeased at how his coworker, He had, kept bugging him about progress, he’d swung at He’s head, without knowing, that it’d, caused He to fall backwards, and the back of his head was, impacted, causing permanent damage to his central nervous system; the Taichung District Court charged Du with serious injuries, gave him two years six months sentence, and on the civil suit front, he was mandated to pay the victim a total of over $3.23 million N.T.s.
The verdict pointed out, that the forty-three year-old Du was an employee of a technology company with the victim, last year on July 27, they’d gotten into a verbal altercation, Du pushed He first, then, started, swinging at He’s head, causing He to fall backwards, and hit the back of his head, and He was lifted to the hospital, and the diagnoses of hematoma caused by contusions and subdural hematoma, that the extent of the injuries was, quite serious, and the D.A. indicted Du.

He asked for the damages, demanded that Du pay for his hospital charges, along with the money he would’ve made had he not been seriously injured; the judge asked the Taichung branch of V.M.H. for the results of He’d diagnostics, and it’d showed, that both temporal lobes were, severely damaged, causing He to suffer in the process of information on a higher level, and that there would be, a decline by fifty-percent for his work performances.
The judge found, that He had multiple certification in skills; Du was only a middle school graduate, worked as a crew on a ship, driver, going out on calls, he’d made about $30,000N.T. per month, and was now, working odds and ends to support himself, that he didn’t receive a stable source of income.
The judge took into considerations, that they’d worked together, and should’ve communicated their displeasures rationally, that Du got angry, because he was pressed to finish his workload, causing the victim to suffer severe injuries, that he’d, acted out of malice, and couldn’t reach a settlement with the victim afterwards, sentenced him to two and a half years in prison.
And, because He suffered hematoma in his brains due to contusions, along with other serious injuries, that’s caused serious damages to his brains, and showed signs of memory decline, and he was no longer as intelligent as he once was, emotionally agitated, and, personality alters, along with other symptoms, he was, seriously, troubled, the judge mandated that Du pay him over $3.23 million N.T.s for He’s losses.

This just shows, how important it is, to not lose emotional control when you’re having an argument, because as this man acted out of anger, because he felt pushed or rushed, he’d ended up, damaging his coworker’s brains, and now, he’s still, NOT the only one who will pay, for the lack of his own emotional control, it’d caused his coworker to suffer brain damage too, and he was, made to pay for it, but, NO amount of money would be enough, to COVER the losses his coworkers will be facing in the futures to come.
