“Please, can you, please not put down ‘Adopted’?”, a couple, Chen who’d done quite well in business, wanted to send their adoptive son abroad to study, in preparing for the documentations, they’d found, that on his birth records, they were, listed as his adoptive parents, and the records had their adoptive son’s real parents. They were very shocked, feared, that this “well-kept secret” is going to bust wide open, they’d begged the government offices, and attempted to find ways around it, and, the office workers felt sympathetic toward them, but there was nothing they can do.
The Chens only had daughters, and not a son. Fifteen years ago, they’d adopted a boy, treated him like he was their own, and hoped that he could, be a part of their family, and never told him the truth about being adopted, and the boy and his older sisters all thought that they were related by blood.

While Mrs. Chen was collecting the documents needed to get his son a passport, she’d learned, that they’d needed his birth certificate, and, that there’s a need, for their adoptive son’s birth parents’ name, she couldn’t understand why the government must make a note of how the son was adopted, for she’d treated him like he was her own, already forgotten that he was, adopted, why did the government needed to make a note of this, to break up this originally, happy family? And, what if, the son couldn’t accept the fact, that he was adopted, being a teenager, and managed, to go down the wrong paths in his life?
Since the couple received the birth certificates, they’d carefully, hidden it, fearing that their son would find it, Mrs. Chen also decided, to go with her son abroad, to register for school with him. The parents are angered by how this rule was supposed to be a “convenience” to the parents, and now, it’d, turned into, a huge hassle.
And, this is not just about one issue, but, the pains carried by, a LOT of the adoptive parents! Another man, who was adopted by a well-to-do family, two years ago, was about to take his girlfriend abroad to work, he’d gone to the land offices to get the required documentations, as his adoptive parents learned, they’d become, flustered, rushed to the land offices, and begged the officials, to take off the word, “Adopted” on the records.
There were a pair of adoptive parents who’d filed for proof of birth for their youngest son who was about to go abroad, and, they’d discussed beforehand with the workers in the office, and, as they’d taken their son to get the documentations, the office workers skillfully, gave the forms to the parents to fill out, to pick up the approved notices, and, the child didn’t read through the records thoroughly, and didn’t find out that he was, adopted.

And, these are cases, where parents ASSumed that the child they’d raised couldn’t DEAL with the FACT, that they were, adopted, and, had these adoptive parents loved their adopted children like their own, why the HELL are they so god DAMN afraid of their adopted child, finding out, that they were, adopted, huh? The parents here, are the ones, lacking the FAITH, and, they say it’s to make sure the kid stays protected is still, ALL B-U-L-L-S-H-I-T!!!
