Trekking Memories…

We went out, on that hiking trail we’d said we’d wanted to, explore together in the morn, and, as we trekked on, it’s, like we’d, fallen, back into the past.

Trekking memories, they’d come at us, at supersonic speed, like how those fast cars going opposite of you on the freeways, whew, whew, whew! Trekking memories, I keep on, walking this road, paved with memories of us, forgetting about ME, and now, I’m lost, without you.

all that remained…not my photograph

Trekking memories, that was, what, you’d, left for me, nothing more, just, miles, miles, and more miles of them, of our better times, of how we’d kissed and made up after that fight that we had that very first year, remember?

Trekking memories, I’d, run so fast, hoping I could, DITCH them, but, they always, catch up to me for some reasons, just when I thought I’d lost them, there they are, lurking, right ‘round the turn, of that next corner! How can I, lose them?

Trekking memories, these, are so difficult, to live with, and now, as the memories of us started, fading to gray, I feel, a little, bit, unwilling, to let them go! I’m just, a huge BALL of, C-O-N-T-R-A-D-I-C-T-I-O-N here, I guess………

all lined up, and stringed together, not my photograph.
