Kindness that’s needed, during this colder season of winter, from the Front Page Sections, translated…
I’d gone for my early morning exercise routines at the park, I’d often bumped into three homeless people who lived in the tool shack under the bridge, they had cooked the foods under the bridge to fill their stomachs, and as we’d bumped into one another, we’d greeted by smile and nodding; as they saw a group of us, stretching out, they would stand far off and shyly, followed us in our routines too.
Yesterday was the event, “The night of winter solstice, providing a warm home for the homeless”, a passionate and faithful friend who’d brought over the rice balls from the offerings to serve them to the homeless community, and, as they’d finished eating, and we’re collecting the bowls and stuff, I’d heard the homeless thanking my friend, and my friend also, thanked the homeless, for helping his family not waste any food.
In the cold winter nights, the homeless population crouched in the dampened dews, as the nights dragged on past, I’m sure, that their trials, nobody would know about, but so long, as someone was, willing to let that light of humanity shine through, and help light up these forgotten corners of the world, the world will become, a much, better place!
So, this, is the kindness shown, to strangers, because the friend felt bad, that these people who are without homes are living in the cold and dampened weather, he’d provided them with warm food, but, I’m sure, that those who came to have some of the warmly prepared food didn’t just get their stomachs filled, they were also, touched by the warmth of the world they’re living in too!
