A man, Lee was suspected of owing two million dollars N.T. in gambling debts, and didn’t want his girlfriend, Nguyen to sell her body to pay up his debts, got into a verbal altercation, lost control, strangled his girlfriend to death, made his escape from Hsinchu to Yilan, the next day, he’d texted Nguyen’s sister about what happened, that, was when the murder got out, and the police arrested Lee yesterday, and charged him with murder.
The police investigated that the woman, Nguyen married over to Taiwan years ago, was divorced with her ex, and was raising a sixteen-year-old daughter, and she’d lived in an apartment with her daughter and younger sister in Zhubei City. About a year ago, Nguyen started dating the forty-year-old, Lee.
Nguyen’s sister told the police, that because of work, she’d kept separate schedules with her older sister, that her niece is still in school, and would go to school and come home by herself. Since the evening of the nineteenth, after her older sister entered into her bedroom, she’d not seen her again, she’d originally wanted to call the police to report her older sister missing, but, she’d gotten a text from Lee, saying that he’d, strangled her older sister to death.
“Go home, lift up your bed, and you will find your older sister, I’m sorry, it’s too late to regret now”, in the text, Lee told Nguyen’s sister, to “rush home and settle her final affairs, I’m not important, I will soon follow her”.
The police went to the residence, and found the body under the mattress, and reviewed over the surveillance and found, that at one in the afternoon, Lee made his way to Nguyen’s place on the nineteenth, and stayed for about ten hours in her apartment, until that evening at eleven at night, he’d left. The police found, that Lee was in Ludong, his own residence, and managed to arrest him yesterday.
As Lee was being interrogated, he’d told that he had accumulated about two million dollars’ worth of gambling debts, that he’d worked in the construction sites, made not enough, that Nguyen was the one, helping to pay for his living, his rent, and also, his debts as well. He’d gotten furious, after finding out, that Nguyen was selling for sex, and, as he saw her, he’d thought about the other men she’d slept with.
And so, this is still, a crime of passion, and this woman sold her body, to pay up this LOSER’s debts, and, had this LOSER managed to pay up HIS own debts, then, his GIRLFRIEND wouldn’t have need to sell her body, but because this LOSER was incapable to do so, she’d needed to make the money quickly, and so, she’d sold her body, for him, and after he found out, he flew into a rage, and committed murder!
