It still, all started, with just ONE thought of wanting to make a difference! From the Newspapers, translated…

The nineteen school social workers from the western district of Hsinbei City started the “Items Bank of School Social Workers”, after a year-and-a-half’s preparation time, the office started operating in the Yi-Shue Middle School of Taishan District, it’d contained the donated socks, blocks, laundry detergents, sweet rice gruel, a total of 4,500 items, that students in dire need can apply for, to shorten the time to wait for assistance to come to them, and, the students who’d donated these items also wrote out cards, “This was something I enjoyed using, please take and use them too!”

The founder of “School Counselors’ Items Bank”, the supervising social worker, Su said, social workers work in the front lines, and would meet students whose families are in dire need of immediate assistance, but because there’s a lot of paperwork, a lot of procedures that’d needed to get completed before the resources were allocated, so, she’d thought of getting all the neighboring schools to chip in, to set up the interscholastic items banks, and all that the students’ families needed to do, was to fill out a form online, then, they would get what they’d needed. The storage of the items and the location for pick up is all at Yi-Shue Middle School in Taishan District.

Su said, in order to help find the items that the students really needed, the preparation time for the whole program took a year and a half to complete, and, it’d involved nineteen more social workers from schools in Bali, Wugu, Linkou, Taishan, Sinchuang, Shuling, Yingge, Sanxia, a total of nineteen social workers in the Western districts, and surveyed the regular students and the students from lower economic statuses, and found, that they’d needed the training bras, the toothpastes, for their developing bodies too.

After they’d put the list together, the social workers, working with nine schools, there were, 4,500 items donated, with the compassions of the fellow students as well as their parents too. The principal, Yang, of Yi-Shue Middle School stated, that the heart of the nineteen social workers in the school districts are open to the other social workers in the school districts of Hsinbei City to get involved with.

So, these few amazing school social workers saw the needs of the students, and, started raising the items that were required, for the students and their families, and, their heart is worth noting, and, we need more people who want to, and are doing something, to make a difference in the lives of others in this world right now.
