This, is generalizing the bad behavior, to everybody who HAS a pet, and it’s still, NOT warranted in this case, translated…
Last week, my family and I took our large breed, “Beans” out to walk, for his daily routines, as Beans lifted his leg to pee, my family and I used a water bottle to wash off the walls, the pavement, out of the turn of the corner, came an elderly woman, she’d stared down at us. Having a large-breed dog, we’re all used to it, my family member shortened the leash, and was about to walk past the elderly woman, when she’d hollered out, “You need to pick up after your dog!”
“I always do, you need to remind those who are walking their dogs without a lead, or those who gone out with their dogs, without a plastic bag!”, my husband replied with anger, and unzipped the pack, there was, a water bottle, a poop collection container, a whole pack of tissues, along with plastic bags and what not. The elderly woman didn’t even take a look, without another word, still felt angry, turned around, and left.
When my husband told me this, it was, already half an hour later, and he was still, mad about it, as the one who takes our dog out twice a day, half an hour each time, he’d known more than anybody else, that there were, dog feces lying around the pavements around our community, he’d walked very carefully around them, and had to, lead our dog carefully, to NOT step on any of the dried up feces.
In this city where there are rarely any strays, the feces and urine that are found all over the places are from dogs with owners, those people would pull open their doors, let the dogs rush out to do their businesses, then, screamed at the top of their lungs to call the dogs home, and, if the dogs were caught by the patrols, or got run over by a car, then, it was because the dogs and owners didn’t have enough affinity.
My husband, in order to prove his “innocence”, every time he’d washed the pavement of our dog’s urine or picked up his poop, he’d always, exaggerated his act, like he was performing. And, the bag of our dog’s needs that he had on him, was also evolved, at first, it was only a cloth bag, but, as he’d needed to pick up the poop, it was difficult, to hold the bag by his hand, and the leash in the other hand, the second version was a side bag, just fling it to the back, hold tight to the leash, then, the act of picking up poop was quick and easy, the bag was also water-proof, not afraid of getting drenched by the rain, or as the bottle of water leaked out; and, he’d considered, that the poop bag wasn’t environmental friendly enough, he’d found, a mid-sized Tupperware, and used a flushable tissue to pick up the poop, placed it into the box, and dumped it into the toilets when he arrived home, you can be environmentally friendly with a dog too!
How can these people see someone with a dog, and immediately blamed him for not keeping the environment sanitary? My husband was very angry, and wondered, if someone sees the rescuers pull out a straw from the nostrils of a sea turtle, they’d started, pointing fingers at those who bought those teas in the roadside teashops? Seeing the farmers farming, then, should we, stand by the side, and holler out to them, to NOT use the pesticides? If you shoot, as you see a shadow, that’s understandable, but, when the shadows didn’t even appear yet, and you’d started, criticizing someone, it’s not on anybody ELSE’s behalf, but, to scapegoat your own angers.
We wouldn’t STOP the couples from having babies, because there are cases of domestic violence in the community per year, nor would we, raise our voices to the newlywed on their banquet, “Don’t get divorced!”, as the divorce rates hit an all-time high. We know, that the actions of some does NOT resemble that of the mass majority, knowing, that prevention and education works, WAY better, than prohibiting; yet even so, there would, be those one-in-a-thousand, one in a million cases of misfortunes or regrets.
Rather than thinking of how the environment is soiled because of dog poops, why not, as the next time you see your neighbor, letting their dogs out to poop, smile, and suggest to him, that he should, go and exercise with his dog, and, give him a couple of folded plastic bags, so he can, bag up the poop too.

This is, very infuriating, when you do the things you are supposed to, and still gets GRILLED, like the husband of the writer had, and, the elderly woman is just being unreasonable, but because there are so many people who can care LESS, that, is why this had happened, and it still worlds down to the conscientiousness of the individuals, some people are NEVER going to do what they need to, no matter HOW you talk to them about it, so, you can either, get ANGRY, clean up after the individual, or, just let the mess stay RIGHT where it is, until the person STEPS on it on his own, then, he’ll, start cleaning UP after HIS own pet!
