The Mother and Her Boyfriend Got Just Slaps on the Wrists for Abusing Her Five-Year-Old to Death

The punishment still does NOT fit the crime, how can you put a dollar sign, on the death of a FIVE-YEAR-OLD young girl? From the Front Page Sections, translated…

A man, Lin from Hsinbei City, this June had, beaten his cohabiting partner, Lin’s five-year-old daughter to DEATH, then, the two of them dumped her body in Guishan Public Cemetery, then fled, a day later, they were, caught. The Hsinbei District Courts found Lin guilty of intentionally murdering a child and abandoning her body, gave him a nine-year jail sentence, and Lin was sentenced to seven-year, ten-months in prison.

The verdict stated, that at the end of June early one morning, the twenty-nine year-old Lin was displeased at how his twenty-three-year-old cohabiting girlfriend, Lin’s five-year-old daughter went outside on her own, he’d physically disciplined her, the child lost her balance, fell backward, hit her head, became unconscious; Lin left immediately afterwards, to fish, and, left the girl to his girlfriend, to keep disciplining her.

At four in the morn, when Lin returned home from drinking, he’d started, beaten the young child with a broom, and plastic chair, made the child squat, and after she’d collapsed, he’d still not let her off the hook; the next morning at around seven, Lin the mother found her daughter to have become limp and just stared into space, she’d attempted to resuscitate her with Lin, but, the child still died.

the two of them drove their three-months-old eldest son to a relative’s house, then, took the daughter’s body to the public cemetery in Guishan, Taoyuan, left her and their car there; then, LIN posted photos of charcoals stacked up, telling her friends and families, that she’s about to, commit suicide with her boyfriend, but after they’d had a few drinks, to work up the courage, they’d still, chickened out.

not long thereafter, the woman was, passed out by the side of the road, was found by the police, and Lin flagged a cab, and rode to the Fishers’ Wharf in Danshui, leapt off the dock, but was pulled back up; and he’d rode the MRT between Taipei and Hsinbei Cities, at noon the following day, he was arrested in Banciao by the police.

The district attorneys indicted Lin and Lin on murdering a young child, the Hsinbei District Court believed, that as Lin was beating the young child, he did, give her a drink, and as he’d gone fishing, he’d brought back a rice drink for her, as the child fell unconscious, the mother and her boyfriend had, attempted to resuscitate her, that after the daughter died, they’d attempted to kill themselves, which showed that they never intended for the young child to die, that the child’s death was caused by disciplining too severely, that they’re guilty of killing the child by abuse, and dumping of her body; yesterday, the judge gave Lin the man, eight years and six months for the abuse to death charges, and eight more months for abandoning the body; together, he will be serving nine years in prison; and the woman, Lin was found guilty of abusing her child to death, sentenced to seven years, six months, and seven months for disposing of her own daughter’s body, that she will be serving a total of seven years, ten months.

So this, is the VALUES of a young life, and if you asked me, just because these two BAD adults showed REMORSE for killing this young girl so brutally, that still doesn’t mean, that they should be let off easy, after all, another YOUNG life is lost, and the child is only five years old, and so, what IF she wandered off on her own, you can just give her a slap on the wrists, then take away her privilege of watching television, or having snacks or something like that, you didn’t have to HIT her this hard, and booze still played a pretty vital role in causing this young child to die too.
