The recent discussion on gender equality, there are the voices, from both sides of the spectrums, showing their supports, and yet, who can speak up for the children of the abusive parents, as well as the developments that came after the placements outside of their separate homes.
Other than physical child abuse, there’s also the psychological, sexual, and even neglect, causing the child to not be well taken care of. Recently, the reporting of child abuse incidents rose from 21,449 cases back in 2009 to 53,860 cases in 2015, with a growth rate of 154 percent. The death tolls of children are also on the rise annually because of it, and this is becoming, a serious issue that we can’t overlook any longer.
they are too young, to even know HOW to speak up for themselves, and yet, NOBODY ever notices until it’s way too late…not my photo…
It’s just, that these unfortunate children NEVER took to the streets to speak up and out, and, those child, teenage abusers are slowly, developing, and hidden, in the corners of the society. Based off of the statistical measures based off of reported cases, children under twelve, there were, more male victims, but in the teenage years, the females outnumbered the males in the victimization. There were, five times MORE girls who are victims than boys, and, there were twice as many male perpetrators as there were females. The primary reasons for abuse were lacking in parental education and problems in the marriage. The important thing is, regardless of genders, children should NEVER be mistreated like this.
As parents or the primary caretakers came under too much pressures, they may easily turn their angers towards their young, or just, neglected their children, especially for children under six, there are even more causes of abuse causing death. The government should be a stronger backup for the children, so they can live in a safer environment.
parents that just gets too loud with their young, making them feel scared, not my photograph…
And yet based off of the investigations conducted by the government branch that monitors all of this, even when there are high-risk families which are reported, there are still lives that were lost. “The system of reporting the high-risk families doesn’t work well, and the agencies responsible for overseeing the care don’t work together, and there’s this lack of personnel in the social workers working for child protection laws too.” The report by the government also pointed out the importance of needing to combine all the resources, that there’s only little in the budget spent on this area, and that there’s this need to increase the trainings of the social workers working in this specific area.
Children may be abused right next to you and me, and, it’s all reliant on our detecting the signs, and reporting the cases, and, I hope, that other than focusing on the policies of long-term care programs, the government can pay a little MORE attention to the children, who are way too young, to speak out and stand up for themselves.
So, children ARE the overlooked population here, because they can’t speak UP for themselves, and, most of these parents who are abused and or neglected are minors still, and, their parents just don’t want it to be known to the world, what they’re doing to their own young, which is why these child abuse/neglect cases are so easily overlooked, until someone D-I-E-S, and makes it to the Front Page News, and, talked about for one day, then, totally, forgotten.
