“Rent a boy (girl) friend” home for the holidays, had been the fashionable thing to do in China, but what about renting a child? In recent years, the trend of renting children in the Dao County in Yongzhou of Hunan Province became “fashionable”, the long-term lease is \50,000, the shorter leases are \100 to \200 a day. But, why would you, rent a child for? The answer is, to help steal.
The reports pointed out, like the earlier times, Fengyang for the Anhui Province was nicknamed the land of beggars, and now, the Dao County in Yongzhou of Hunan Province is a land of thieves, there were, over ten thousand women who were registered as burglars and thieves, these women are stealing all over China, especially in those well-developed larger cities. They usually work in groups of three to four, and, as they go out to steal, they usually bring along a child too.
The young girl, Ching-Ching who was arrested because of burglary, Ching-Ching was only seven years old. She was, “rented out” by her own mother, and after the crime ring trained her, she’d become, a very good young thief.
The footage that the police in China had showed, that the way these rings worked was with a woman on the lookout, two women blocking the visuals of the store clerk, and, had the kids do the stealing. Ching-Ching said, that their primary goal is one to two specific items of a shop, another was the cell phones, “we only steal iPhones.”
As the police questioned Ching-Ching, she’d, shown them just how skillful she is, in her mind, it was a game that the two older women taught her to play, “Hide-and-Go-Seek”. Before Ching-Ching goes out to steal, the ladies had helped give her “professional trainings”, they would put a wallet or a cell phone on the tables, for Ching-Ching to be aware of the security, and while nobody’s watching, the young girl would, pick up the phone, and quickly, stuffed it into her coats.
In the case involving this young girl, Ching-Ching that the police cracked, there were, four adult women and three children involved. Beside Ching-Ching, there was another young girl, and a little boy too. There was one more little girl, because she wasn’t skillful enough, the two adults gave her back to her parents; and, although the little boy was excellent in stealing, he was sent back too, because his parents demanded too high a price for him.
The reports pointed out, some of the locals of Dao County treated renting their children out as a lucrative business, and this had, developed, into a crime chain, even became, the shortcut for “way to strike it rich”, causing more copycats, some don’t even believe this was shameful, instead, they’d felt, proud of it, and this makes people worry.
So here, the adults are the ones to blame, for training these young kids to steal, and the parents are awful too, for SELLING their young to a life of crimes like this, and, do you know the impacts this sort of bad behaviors will have on your young children’s lives? Of course not, because ALL you care about, is, is my kid making the extra money so we can all live and eat well??? Such selfish parents, with absolutely NO sense of how to teach or love their young right!
