The Sundays that Just Won’t Stop Raining

God DAMN it, another WET weekend!!!

The Sundays that just won’t stop raining, it’d started happening, since I was a young child, or maybe, even, before I was born, and, on those Sundays of our youths, we’d always, gone back to his parents’ place, and, we’d, sat, indoors, watching the rain, hit the window panes, longing, to be outside…

the skies grew dark, then, the flood came…not my photograph

As the weather cleared up, we ran outside in a jiffy, but, before we could set our toys in their proper places in the yard, drip, drip, drip, then, a DOWNPOUR came, again! These were, the Sundays that just won’t stop raining, marked by, the difficult goodbyes I’d had to say (‘cuz I’d not known any better, ‘cuz I was too young, too naïve!!!), to his parents, and, his EX-wife practically had to, PRY me away from his mother too!

Then, as I got a bit order, I’d started, feeling that burn down there (don’t even ASK!!!), and I’d gone, to his DEAD mama to help me “fix” it, not knowing that I was, condoning to HER sexual molestations of me, besides, after that BITCH washed me, my rash did, get better, and, as that BITCH washed me, she’d commented on how “your own mother wouldn’t even help you feel better!”, to DRIVE me away from his EX-WIFE.

the child is silenced!  Not my photo…

The Sundays, they’d, rained, through my ENTIRE childhood, and, into my adolescent years, and, a little bit into my adulthood, and then, one Sunday, I’d, looked out my window, for the very first time, in my entire life, it’s just, blue clear, sunny skies, without ANY sign of rain.

I was, reluctant, because of my former Sundays, full of rain, didn’t know if I can trust the weather to continue to be so nice, so, I’d, taken an umbrella with me as I walked out.

The day passed through, peacefully, I’d spent the whole day outside, gone to a café, sat, enjoyed my order to coffee and a small piece of cake, went, into the bookstore to brows a bit, and, as the light left the sky, I’d, caught a glimpse, of the last ray of the sun, leaving that sky, full of colors………
