The man, Chuang who’d been unemployed for years on end couldn’t get any more money for his living from his mother he’d used two fruit knives and stabbed his own mother to death; as his father and younger brother saw it, they’d attempted to disarm him, but were both cut too. After he’d murdered his own mother, Chuang sat, dumbfoundedby the door, and was arrested by the police who came; the police found that he was diagnosed with schizophrenia, but, if the murder was caused by his relapse of mental conditions, it’s still pending investigations, and after the interrogations, he was booked for murder.
The police investigated and found, that Chuang (age 36) was unmarried, without a history of violence, and five months ago, he’s worked as an operator at a plastic manufacturing factory, but after he’d become unemployed, he’d gotten money from his own mother often. Yesterday Chuang tried to get money from his mother again, told her he was going to look for work, but his mother wouldn’t give the money to him, Chuang was furious and grabbed a fruit knife and started stabbing his own mother who was in the kitchen; as his father and younger brother saw, they’d gotten to him, and as they tried to grab the knife from him, they were both injured.
There were puncture wounds on Chuang’s mother’s right thoracic and abdomen region, she’d stopped breathing before the paramedics can get her to the hospital, the emergency resuscitation measures didn’t bring her back; after getting patched up, Chuang’s father and younger brother were okay. After Chuang murdered his own mother, he’d gone out to get something to drink, then, returned home, and just sat and waited, he was arrested by the police.
Chuang claimed, that someone was out to get him, that a month ago, he’d bought the fruit knife to keep himself safe, that he’d carried it with him regularly, and would put the knife next to his bed while he slept at night too. That the motive for his murdering his own mother was because he ran out of money and his mother wouldn’t give him more money to live off of. The D.A. and the police went back to Chuang’s house with him, for him to reenact out what had happened, as Chuang saw the rest of his family, finalizing his own mother’s final affairs, he’d carried, an expressionless face.
Chuang’s father said, because of his hand injuries, his son had wanted to take a leave of absence from the factory where he’d worked, five months ago, he was fired; from before, he’d given him money to spend, that he’d normally stayed at home quietly, he’d never seen him “react so fiercely before.”
The police found, that Chuang was registered as a mentally ill individual, is an at-risk person listed by the Department of Sanitations, that last month the Department of Sanitations had sent someone to his home to visit, back then, Chuang was even tempered.
So, something must’ve set him off, and, his mother’s refusal to give him anymore money to live off may still just be that final straw, and, because this man had a history of mental illness, we can’t be sure, what caused him to murder his own mother so brutally, but, one thing’s for certain, the forces he’d used to murder his own mother, must’ve been from all the moments he’d felt taken from before, that accumulated to that moment, then, everything crashed down.
