The cause of death here, is L-O-V-E, I’m afraid…from the Front Page Sections, translated…
There was, a double-body homicide in a certain motel in Fengshan, Kaohsiung, a Vietnamese woman, Du (age 32) and a man, Feng (age 31) from Pingdong, suspected of having an affair; the unmarried man, Feng, suspected of the married woman, Du, wanted to break up, stabbed her over twenty times, then, hung himself to death.
The motel personnel yesterday at noon rang the bell, and asked to check out, but no one answered; as the personnel unlocked the door, they’d felt something was blocking the entrance, and they saw a man, hung to death on the meal delivery doors, they’d immediately notified the police.
As the police and coroners came, they saw Du dressed, lying on her face on the bed, with over twenty knife wounds on her body, the kill shots were on the left side of her neck, and underneath her left armpit, there was, a huge blood stain on the sheets, with a fruit’s knife close by. The room was messy, and there seemed to have been signs of struggle, the woman seemed to have fought hard in the process, and, there was, half a bottle of perfume, which Feng was suspected in using, to get rid of the smell of the blood.
The officers investigated, that Du had been in Taiwan for over ten years, and has a national identification card, married to her husband who’s a semi-conductor developer for a little over five years, they have a son together. Du’s husband told the police, that at the start of the year, he’d felt, that something wasn’t quite right with his own wife, and, on the twenty-third of this month, his wife told him she was going to work at the hotpot store, and never came back home again, and, after he’d inquired the store that his wife worked had, they’d told him she didn’t come to work at all, he had reported her missing to the police already.
Feng is a cable engineer, lived with his aunt in Pingdong, he was raised by his aunt, and called his aunt “Mom”, yesterday, Feng’s aunt came to the motel to identify his body, she’d told the police, that he’d started dating recently, for about a month, but she’d not known Du in person, “he’s very stubborn when it came to love.”
The forensic personnel found three SmartPhones inside the bags, there was NO other contact in the man’s cell, and, the two cell phones that Du had were password protected, the police is waiting for the D.A. to clarify how the two contacted one another. There was no medications, and final notes, and, whether or not the deceased took some drugs, is still pending investigations.
So, we only have the results of how these two people were found dead, we don’t know the processes, so, we can’t conclude anything, but based off of what is stated, we can deduct that maybe the woman wanted to break it off with the cable engineer, and he wasn’t willing to let her go, and so, they got into an argument, and in the process, he’d killed her, and then, turned the knife on himself, but we can’t be sure that that, is what happened, because the only TWO individuals involved are already D-E-A-D here!!!
