“I Saved a Hostage of IS”, a Man Falsified as an American Hero Charmed a Taiwanese Woman

The results of a woman being TOO desperate for love, getting S-C-A-M-M-E-D here, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

A woman, Liang started interacting with someone online, and found herself a “marriage scam” instead. The man claimed to be an army colonel stationed in Syrian, and he’d started pursuing her like crazy, lied to her, that he’d needed the moneys for saving the hostages of ISIS, along with other excuses, weaved up a false tale of love in the wars; Liang became trapped by the romantic tales he’d fed to her, they’d not even talked on the phones since the two months they’d started “dating”, and she’d gotten scanned for $1.2 million N.T.s already.

this is what it looks like, scammers using someone else’s photo, to lure those single aging ladies…photo from online…

The counter clerk in a certain shopping mall in Kaohsiung, Liang (age 46) met a man online, “Ferguson Clark”, he looked like the movie star, in his camouflage uniform, with the American flag as the background, claimed that he was an orphan, and was adopted by the U.S. Army.

The man told her, that he’d successfully made it up to the rank of a colonel, for his amazing acts in the wars, that he is currently, living in the warzones of Syria, and was looking to settle down with someone else, and because the military wouldn’t allow for the use of cell phones, they’d connected using LINE. He’d promised that after his missions, he will come to Taiwan and marry Liang, and called her, “Honey”, “Sweetheart”, “My Queen”, it’d made Liang believed, that she’d, found her true love.

Last month, the man claimed, that he was able to save a hostage who almost got decapitated by ISIS, that the Syrian government, in order to thank him, privately gave him some sum in American dollars, that he couldn’t deal with it in the warzones, and had asked the Red Cross to mail it to Taiwan, hoped that Liang could take care of the package for him, and said, “You’re the only one I trust, I’m certain, you won’t let me down!”

a warning to ALL!!!  from online…

The man had Liang pay $150,000N.T. for the shipping by airmail, then, had three times told her, that the Turkish Customs are giving him a hard time, asked her to pay for the “fees for the exits”, after Liang had wired the amount, she’d become suspicious, he’d told Liang, to wait for her, and to NOT tell anybody else about the packages, because this money, is for the “sake of our family”; at the start of the month, Liang still had yet to receive the package, and started suspecting, the man claimed, that the package had already arrived in Hong Kong, that she’d needed to pay for the other charges, that, was when Liang realized, that she’d been scammed, and by then, she’d already, wired $1.2 million to him.

The Criminal Bureau stated, that this sort of love scam originated from Nigeria, and, it’d broken the Nigerian Criminal Code #419, and was called the “419 Scam” internationally, the scam artists targeted single unmarried, mature cougars, and the scam artists would claim to have high titles, falsified that they were in love, and used the excuse of needing money for investments to scam, or falsely claimed that they’d sent something valuable, and asked for the wires of the handling charges.

So, now you know, and, hopefully, NO ladies out there, will EVER fall for this CHEAPEST trick in the book again! But, this still probably won’t BE the last case like this, because, women ARE getting more and more desperate as they age, and if they’re still single, then, they are more than prone, to fall prey to the false promises that this SCAM artists make to them.
