The Arcades of Childhood

In the arcades of childhood, we’d played, many, many games, that was, how, we were, ALL, socialized. There were, RULES in the arcades of childhood, that we shouldn’t, break, but, we broke them, one by one, after all, that, is how we learn, what our limits are, isn’t it?

The arcades of childhood, do you remember, ALL those fun games we used to play? Including that time when we’d undressed ALL our dolls, and did BAD things to them? Or, how ‘bout when mama got mad at daddy, and started screaming at him, for cheatin’ on here, remember how we reenacted that out, using the dolls?

games we’d played when we were stll just children, NOT my card…

The arcades of childhood, a place, where games were played, and we didn’t even know it yet, but, those, were the FINAL days of our innocence, because, the moment we stepped into the arcades of childhood, we’d, crossed over, onto that path, of NO more innocence, and we’d all, slowly, marched, into adulthood, one by one.

The arcades of childhood, where dreams were kept, tucked in, tightly, with us, next to us, atop those child-sized beds. The arcades of childhood, that, is where those, lost memories go, to become, slowly, faded to black…

The arcades of childhood, it doesn’t sound like a great place now, does it? Hey, how the HELL am I supposed to know, that this, is how this article would turn out? I’m still just, making it up, as I go along here!!!

the series of already outdated machines, replaced by modern-day gaming devices like the Wii, not my photo still…

The arcades of childhood, we can’t head back in, we’re all, adult here, and, the arcades of childhood can only have children in them, not adults. It’s a place, where NO adults will ever BE allowed, kinda like that secret club treehouse we used to play in, remember???
