A woman, Cheng, who’s younger than her boyfriend, Wu, their love wasn’t blessed by their families, yesterday, they’d met up to commit suicide together, they took the leap, from Wu’s office, out of the seventh floor, and, killed themselves. The police found their last notes, it’d mentioned, “I may not be able to fulfill my filial piety to you, do forget me, the bad son”, etc., the police suspected that they’d killed themselves for love at this preliminary examination of the scene.
The police found, that Wu (age 20) met Cheng (age 21) two years ago, a little over a year later after Wu was relieved of his army duties, he’d started working at a garage. Yesterday at lunch break, Cheng went to the garage where Wu worked, they’d gone up the stairs together.
The tile factory workers next door found the two of them lying on the ground level at a little past one in the afternoon, and they were already dead, the worker immediately called the police. The police examined the scene, and suspected that they’d stepped onto the power cables, onto the outside walls, then, took the leap.
The police found both of their bags at the scene, there were two final notes, it’d mentioned, “I hope you don’t blame me, I hope that my eldest brother’s love will be blessed more.”, and other words.
At around four in the morning early yesterday, Wu shared a list of signs that will do whatever it took to keep the love they have. Cheng also posted on FB, “Thank you for accompanying me for two years, I’d not desired anything extravagant, just enough money, so long as you hold my hands forever, wanting us to last forever.”
Wu’s family rushed to the scene yesterday, Wu’s mother was crying hard. Wu’s older brother told, “although we’re all against them being together, but, none of us actually prevented them from dating”; Cheng’s father rushed to Kaohsiung from Taichung last night, and said that he knew that his daughter’s love wasn’t looked upon with hope at all.
The office manager of Professor Chang Foundation, He said, that as children started dating, the parents, may get overly concerned or worried, and may have given too much unwanted advice, and overlooked the fact, that their children are already grown, that they have their own separate beliefs, and just stood against the relationships, this can easily become the ignition point. As the parents showed their feelings over their children’s relationships, they must pay close heed to, “Are we pulling the children back in, or are we, pushing them farther out”?
So, because these two young people felt so much in love, and the parents were against them being together, so, they’d decided, to commit suicide together, and, this can be perceived as “normal”, as when love is in its earlier stages, it’s ruled by passions, and, sometimes, you just, can’t deny the passion that’s between the two of you, and, when the world is against the two of you being together, then, you would be more than likely, to do something rash, like committing suicide to make your points!
