Lee because of the rising pressures in his eyes from the stresses of his life, he’d slowly lost his sight, he’d lived for two years not doing anything, because his neighbor his a piano teacher for the visually impaired, he’d started learning to play the piano by copying the instructor’s movements, and found the passions for life back through music, and, had played long-term on the underground passes of the East Side, he’d gotten involved in the auditions and gotten into the finals, and recorded a mini-album, “Love on the Roads”.

Chen was a premature baby, whose sight was damaged, and he was developmentally slow too, and is slightly autistic, and in the rehearsals, had gotten grilled in practicing his music, his instructor, Wu was more than patient towards him, taught him to use his ears, his heart, to feel out the mistakes in his playing, and now, Chen became more and more confident.
The partner of the duo, “Sound of Li and Chen”, the singer, Li-Ting Liao, is an outgoing, independent college female student, in order to make street performances into a proper career, she’d signed up for the singing class of the Blind Love Foundation, she hoped to become a professional musician one day.
Chen, who’s a very excellent diabolo sportsman, grew up in the country sides of Pingdong, he’d been deaf since birth, and was picked on by other children when he was younger, but he’s an optimistic big boy, and, this year, he’d earned the performing certifications for the artistic diabolos. Wu said, that the handicapped individuals needed to work harder than regular people, so the world can look beyond their handicaps, and see their capabilities.
So, this, is the story of inspiration, of three individuals, of how they refused to get beaten by fate, and just, worked hard, to perfect the skills they’d acquired, and, making their own lives meaningful, and at the same time, they were able to, inspire the rest of us.
