Family disputes here, from the Newspapers, translated…
A man Chang was displeased at how his son amounted to nothing, not paying any bills, he’d left cuss words on his son’s Facebook, wrote, “You’re Not My Son Anymore, Go and Change Your Last Name Right Now”, and texted, “I will go and take you and your wife hostage”; the son sued him for harassments, and damaging his reputations, but admitted to changing his last name to “Chen”, that he’d not paid his bills, and, cussed his own father right back, and the D.A. believed, that the threat charges wouldn’t stand, and charged him on damaging someone’s reputations, and asked for a simple verdict.
The indictment stated, that the man, Chang in Sinchuang, Hsinbei City, on April 19th, left cuss words on his son’s FB pages, “You think you’re so hot, I’d NOT owed you a thing…doubted me…, I’d not done what you said I did, you’d, defamed me, I’d raised you for twenty years, and this, is how you treat me, my heart is cold now”, etc., etc., etc.
Chang still felt angered, and a few days ago, texted his son, “I will take you and your wife down, let’s see how long you can hide from me”; the son claimed, that he’d become fearful, he’d provided the evidence of his father’s threats on FB, as well as the text message, and went to the police about it.
At interrogation, Chang told, that he’d raised his son for over twenty years on end, and now, he’d not paid up any bills, that he’d helped paid for his insurances, his traffic tickets too, and that the son said that after he gets married, he’s changing his last name to his own mother’s, and didn’t notify him as he’d changed his last name; he’d hated how his son was amounting to nothing, believed that his son should take responsibilities for his own actions, that, was why he’d left those messages on Facebook.
The son admitted to changing his last name, and that the money came from his father, that the reason why he’d cussed his own father out was because he was getting annoyed; the D.A. believed, that Chang the father texted, “Are you still a man, can you be more dependable”, it’d showed how his expectations of his son becoming something bursting, that was why he’d grilled his own son, that there’s nothing threatening about it.
The D.A. pointed out, that even IF Chang, the father used sharp and bad languages, that it’d made his son displeased, but threats would be hard to establish, and that there wasn’t enough evidence; but leaving the cuss words on his son’s FB had become public humiliations.
And so, this, is a family dispute, because the father felt that the son was a squatter, that he’d not amounted to anything, which might ALSO be a projection of how he couldn’t amount to anything in his own life, and yet, he’d taken that out on his own young, cussed him out on Facebook and, publicly insulted the son!
