Murdered, because she’d realized that he wasn’t right for her, and that she’d wanted out of the relationship, but he wasn’t willing to let go of this “love” he’d invested too much into already, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

An unemployed man, Wu started dating Shen, who was from a wealthy family, Wu thought that the family of the woman didn’t bless their relationship, he was suspected of murdering Shen, and set up the scene of the crimes, wrote a “suicide note” on Shen’s behalf, said that they are committing suicide together, but he’d hung himself, burned charcoal, and still lived. The D.A. found that Shen had just ordered tickets for Aaron Kwok’s concert in Hong Kong, that she’d not had any suicidal thoughts, they’d not believed Wu’s claims, charged him with murder and other charges.

The indictment provided by the District Attorney’s Offices pointed out that Wu (age 27) struck up a conversation with Shen who is four years older online, claimed that he’d saved her life in a past life and died, that this life, he saw another spirit haunting Shen, that he was here, to rescue her again. After Shen believed him, she’d started dating Wu in June to “pay him back”, and rented a place for Wu in Luzhou.

As the two of them started dating, Wu went to the office to find Shen, Shen’s father didn’t know that they were dating, but he’d told his daughter, “the young man should be at work right now, he needs to work harder”, it’d made Wu believed, that their relationship wasn’t “blessed” by the parents.

On the afternoon of August 14 this year, after Shen took the sleeping pills, Wu strangled her to death, then, turned the air-conditioning on full-blast, accompanied her corpse for three days. And, as Shen’s parents called, Wu pretended to be her and replied back to them using LINE, “I’m fine, stop bugging me.”

And, Wu wrote a fake suicide note on Shen’s behalf, on her laptop, “Why are you so against us being together, and with my ex getting in the way, we decided to die together, bury us together”, left the note in on her computer desk. On the afternoon of August 16, Wu took Shen’s cell phone, cash, gift certificates, took the van that Shen just bought, drove back to his home in Hualien.

Because Shen’s parents didn’t get to talk to their daughter in person for so long, they’d felt that something wasn’t right, on the sixteenth, they’d gone to her apartment, and, saw their daughter’s corpse already rotted away. The police reviewed the surveillance, and used GPS tracking systems, and, the net day, they’d arrested Wu at the Seven Stars Lake in Hualien, as he was arrested, he was sleeping inside the car.

Wu claimed, that Shen’s parents were against them being together, that he was under enormous pressures, wanted to commit suicide, but feared that his family couldn’t get the insurance money, that, was why she’d asked Wu to kill her. After he’d strangled her to death, he’d attempted to hang himself using a scout’s rope, and burned charcoal in the bathrooms, but, his suicide attempts were, unsuccessful, that, was why he’d decided to head back to his old home one more last time, then, to commit suicide.

The D.A. called on Shen’s family, friends, and they’d all proved that she was optimistic about life, didn’t have ANY signs of depression or suicidal behaviors; Shen had even told her uncle, that her “boyfriend said that if they’d broken up, he’ll do something awful to people that I loved and cared about”, it’d made her fearful; and the male friend, Tsao testified, that he’d bought the Aaron Kwok concert tickets with her, and she was looking forward to going to the concert very much too.

So, the evidence are stacked UP against this unemployed man, Wu, because the woman probably realized, that they weren’t good together, just as her parents and family and friends had told her, and wanted to break up with the man, but, the man won’t have it, so, he’d murdered her, and made it look like a suicide, and yet, he’d still gotten caught, and he won’t get away with M-U-R-D-E-R!!!
