The Air, My Friend

A kid on a boat with a polar bear, a column by Jimi Liao, translated…

If We’d Traveled the Distance, to Get to a Far-Off Place that’s Worse Than Our Own Old Homes, What, Do We Do Then?

And, if We’d Returned Back to Our Hometowns, Traveling the Far Away Distances

And Felt, that Home Was Even WORSE than We’d Left It,

What, Do We Do Then?

We Couldn’t Possibly Just Keep on Going to and fro,

And Worried Ourselves So on This Beautiful Ocean Now, Can We?

So, this, is worrying too much, I mean, how would you know if the place you’re going to, IS worse than the place you’re currently in?  This, is worrying about the unnecessary, because you’re still unsure of your own futures, that, is why you’re worrying, and, if you’d known, that fate had you covered, then, you wouldn’t be worrying so excessively, besides, we can adapt well in the world……
