Because he wasn’t “skillful enough” in making the device, that, was how he got off easy, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

A man, Lin, because he’d had disagreements with his partners in selling the stolen goods, he’d made five homemade explosive devices to protect himself, and, the devices were accidentally discovered by the police; illegally making these homemade explosives is a felony of over seven years’ in prison, but, the five recovered homemade bombs were rough in quality, and were very varied in sizes, although it can still explode, but, it can’t create too much damages, the judge believed, that the man didn’t cause any specific amounts of danger to the society, gave him a four year two months sentence and another fine of $40,000N.T.s.

we have PROFESSIONALS here, and these people are just laypersons…not my photo.

The investigators noted, that the twenty-four year-old Lin and the twenty-eight year-old Chang were partner dealers, but because they disagreed on the splitting up of the stolen goods, they’d gotten on each other’s bad sides, and threatened each other; and because Lin didn’t have the money to buy the guns, he’d learned to make homemade bombs based off of the how-to guide he’d found, he’d made a total of FIVE devices.

Last May, the Taoyuan Police followed Yang, a woman with an arrest warrant for drug abuse, and found her hiding in Lin’s home, they’d gone up to arrest her, and, they’d found the illegal substances, as well as the five homemade explosive devices; the five bombs were varied in shape, the largest was like a bowling pin, the smallest, like a baseball. As Lin was taken into the police and interrogated, he’d admitted to making the homemade explosives, but claimed that they’d only given off a flash, and NOT exploding; the police tested these five devices, and found, that all five devices can explode through the testing paper box of 0.3 centimeters in thickness, and that the paper boxes they’d put the bombs in started burning because of the explosions, and believed, that these devices CAN cause real damage.

The lightest sentence for illegally making the devices is over seven years in prison, but the courts investigated and found, that the dynamite that Lin used is the black kind, not as damaging as the yellow dynamite that can instantly destroy a building or cause someone to die, and he’d not used the homemade explosive devices on anything else yet, that he’d not caused any concrete damages to the society; the judge believed, that giving Lin the lowest level of punishment is still a bit too severe, I the end, he’d given him a lighter sentence, that he could do community services to pay for the fines, a day of volunteering for $1,000N.T.s.

not my animation…

The police stated, that Lin’s “enemy”, Chang was caught shortly after Lin was arrested too, and he also had two homemade explosive devices on him, the courts is overseeing the case; and the drug charges that he had is another case pending right now.

So, this, IS just about, the BIGGEST LOOPHOLE EVER, isn’t it? You’d made a homemade bomb, but, it was BAD in quality, and couldn’t hurt anybody but you (maybe???), so the judge gave you not even a SLAP on the wrists, and, what does that teach everybody else? Oh, we can make our homemade explosives, just make sure that it doesn’t BLOW everybody else around it up, and, we’d get away, with possessions of all of these dangerous devices, what the FUCK??? Pardon the “French”…
