Murder in PROGRESS here!!! From the Front Page Sections, translated…
A man, Lee was suspected of murdering his own wife by hacking at her neck then attempted to commit suicide in his residence with a fruit knife, as the call to the police showed the wife hollering, “I’m a GONER!”, and it’s suspected, that as she’d called the police, her husband stabbed her again, then the phone went dead, she was rushed to the hospital, but died, Lee was taken to the hospitals and survived; the police investigations found, that after Lee had gotten drunk, he’d used violence on his own wife, they suspected that he’d murdered his wife after getting into an argument with her after he was drunk, but because Lee was intubated at the hospital, the police will wait until he’s stabilized then interrogate him, and, charge him based off of murder.
Based off of understanding, “the landlord”, Lee (age 46) is from a well-to-do local family, has a property in the urbanization program in Neihu, lived in the same community as his older brothers and sisters, Lee collected rents for a living; Yen (age 49) was unemployed and was married previously, has a grown daughter with her ex-husband, six years ago, she’d married Lee, they did not have any children.
Yesterday around two in the morning, there were, arguments coming out of a residence in a building in a community of Neihu, the neighbors called in, and said, they’d heard screaming and howling for up to four minutes, as the police and fire department rushed to the scene, they’d found Lee, and Yen, lying in a pool of blood in the living room, there were five knife wounds on Yen’s left neck, there were signs of struggle on her arm, she’d died on the way to the hospital, there were, two knife wounds on Lee’s left thoracic, he was resuscitated after being taken to the hospitals.
The police found a thirty-centimeter long fruit knife with blood on it on the tea tray of the living room, and, the stench of alcohol almost “made the smell of blood vanished”, they’d suspected that Lee was drunk and started an altercation with his own wife, killed her with the knife, then, attempted to commit suicide.
Based off of police, before Yen died, she’d called the police, and, half way into her call, the phones went dead, there was, huge amounts of blood spatter on the kitchen walls, and, there were, blood drag marks from the kitchen to the living room, the police suspected that Lee killed his wife in the kitchen then, dragged his injured wife into the living room, and he saw his wife call for help, then, stabbed her death.
Yen’s younger brother and daughter told, that after Lee got drunk, he’d used Yen as a punching bag, that they didn’t know what the argument was about; as Yen was being murdered, Lee’s older brother flipped through the back walls into the residence, and, as he was applying pressure to his own younger brother’s chest to stop the bleeding, Lee had, brushed his hand aside, he’d told, that his younger brother and sister-in-law argued from time to time, that they were getting along okay with each other normally.
So, in the heat of the moment, this man killed his own wife, and then, the coward attempted to kill himself, but he did NOT succeed, and now, he will be, tortured by his own guilty conscience over what he’d done for the rest of his life, and, it’ll be like, serving LIFE in prison, with his GUILTY conscience as the jail warden, suits him right!!!
