An Elderly Man Who’d Murdered His Wife Eleven Years Ago and Made His Escape Had Now, Turned Himself in, as He’d Had a Heart Attack

A man, Yo (age 75), eleven years ago, beaten his own wife, Ke who had been married to him for forty years to death, disposed of her body at a sewage, although the police were able to solve this case quickly, but Yo escaped to China to hide out; but, Yo had a heart condition, and couldn’t afford the high medical bills, two evenings ago, he’d followed his daughter back to Taiwan to turn himself in.

After the woman’s daughter identified, they’d confirmed that it was, the sixty-year-old who went missing two days ago, Yo-Ke.

The daughter of the deceased told the police, that her mother loved drinking and gambling, that her parents argued incessantly. The police believed that her husband, Yo was the primary suspect, arrested him. Yo claimed, that after his wife got drunk that evening, she’d left the house to gamble, and after she returned home, they got into an argument, in a moment of heat, he’d picked up a baseball bat, beaten his wife hard on the head several times, then, took her body to dump.

Based off of understanding, in recent years, Yo’s daughter was supporting him, but because of his heart condition, he’d suffered. The Department of Immigrations told, that without the local insurances, Taiwanese citizens would have to pay $700N.T.s each time they went to see the doctors at a hospital, plus the fees for the medications, it’d cost over $2,000N.T.s; Yo’s heart condition would have to treated by an operation, and it may cost up to over hundred thousand dollars.

As Yo was taken into interrogations, he’d admitted that he escaped to China to hide out, but didn’t tell about how he’d made his living overseas, and his daughter wouldn’t tell anything. The police suspected, that Yo’s daughter had put up the money for her father’s living for eleven years, and, took the money to him by going overseas to her father.
