Keeper of Their Secrets…

You were, the keeper of their secrets, whatever they did, to other people, they’d, told you about, ‘cuz they couldn’t tell each other about it…

You’d become, the keeper of their secrets, growing up, there was, nothing but darkness, nothing but secretive things, that were, whispered, into those young ears of yours, and, there was, nothing you can do about it. You were, way too young, to tell them NO!

Keeper of their secrets, it’s nothing easy, but, there’s, NOTHING you could’ve done, but to, allow them all, to pour those secrets, into your, young AND innocent ears. You were forced, to carry everything that went on between your parents emotionally, you were, their EMOTIONAL punching bag, the one they’d, poured out, their too adult secrets to.

Keeper of their secrets, you grew up, hurting, knowing ALL the secrets they’d kept from one another, and, you couldn’t tell them what the other one was, hiding, fearing, that they may, turn on one another, and, you’d end up, slaughtered by them in the process.
