Why are you, starting to, tell your stories now? I mean, it’d been, how many years since it’d first started happening, why now? Why did you, choose to, come out into the open, now? You’d, kept everything buried too deep from before, so, why don’t you, keep everything buried deep like you had done?
Why are you, starting to, tell your stories? Is it, to embarrass us? To make us feel bad, for not looking out for you? Because if you’re looking for our apologies, you ain’t GETTING one! We weren’t the ones who’d hurt you, someone else was, we were just, too caught up, in this adult world of ours, with ALL its demands, trials, and tribulations of our separate lives together, to pay attention to you, so, it’s N-O-T us, who’d, raped you, used you as a SEX toy, so, you can’t blame it on us!

Why are you, starting to, tell your stories now? Why come out, after so many years, when in the past, there were, multiple opportunities for you, to tell us what had happened to you, not that we would believe you back then or anything like that? But, why N-O-W, huh?
Why are you, starting to, tell your stories now, huh? Do you not know, the inconveniences your stories (even IF they’re all true!!!) would bring to this family of ours? Why are you, starting to, tell your stories now? Is it to, make US feel bad, for not being there for you when you were younger? You want our sympathies, is that it?
And so, the person who’s confronting the people is beaten down again, and, s/he is more than likely, to be TRAUMATIZED, all over, and, the injuries that the individual sustained, would be equivalent, if not worse, than the original behaviors had, caused her/him!
