Long-Term Care 2.0, Set Up, But With Its Share of Issues Unresolved

As the need became pressing, the government didn’t think it through, and just started pushing forth the policies, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

There were, NINE counties in which Long-Term Care 2.0 that signed on for the community involvement program, the elderly didn’t get the facts, and some even asked, “How much money can I get?”, they’d mistook Long-Term Care 2.0 for the government old age sustenance. And in the areas, there’s this, lacking in personnel, lack of professionalism of the workers, the volunteers are middle aged, and unwilling to care for the elderly who’d lost abilities, which also caused the hardships in implementing of the rules.

The first line of defense of Long-Term Care 2.0 stated, that based off of the rules set up by the Department of Sanitary Welfare, these two months were the period of expansion of resources, including transporting, connecting the Level A service shops, to the services offered by Level B and C, it’s still all pending discussion, that the new services will start, next January formally, at the earliest.

A lot of the members of the public didn’t understand what Long-Term Care 2.0 is about, the places that first started the trial basis programs in Chiayi and Keelung received calls from the public, inquiring, that the government placed over billions of dollars into the programs, and how much are they going to get from the billions of dollars by the government, and, later on, they were told, that the money was put into bettering the cares, not given out as paychecks, some were disappointed, others, upset by this.

And so, this shows the minds of the members of the public, they only WANTED the money given to them for free by the government, which, is why people were calling to inquire about how much they can get, without realizing, that this SERVICE is set up like a not-for-profit organization, as there’s this, increasing need of the elderly population being taken care of, and the number of elderly folks who need this service will increase by the year, and this is one plan that the government here, didn’t THINK thoroughly on!
