A Grad Student Committed Suicide on Halloween Night

A tragic death again, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

A second-year grad student from a central university, on Halloween night, was found to have hung himself to death at his residence in Taichung; he’d not left a note, and his classmates couldn’t figure out what made him kill himself, the family also had a difficult time accepting that he’d ended his own life, the cause of death is being investigated by the investigative officers right now.

Based off of understanding, Lai disclosed how he was having difficulties, writing his thesis statement, but showed no signs of suicide, that, was why the family members refused to accept the fact, that he had, killed himself, nor were they willing, to have his body autopsied, after the D.A. reviewed the facts, they’d asked the police to look further into what caused Lai’s death, they’d reviewed over the street surveillance footages, and cracked his cell phone access codes, hoping that they could find something that can shed light on to his death.

The police investigated, that Lai is a second year graduate school student, is preparing his thesis statement right now, last Saturday evening, his family asked if he was coming home, he told them using LINE, that he wasn’t going home. Two days ago on Monday, the school was in session, and Lai didn’t show up, the school notified his family, the parents found his landlord, and, two evenings ago, the landlord opened the doors to the room, and, they’d found him dead already.

The police told, that last Friday evening, his classmates asked him out to a movie and saw no warning signs, the police found the receipts for a hamburger and drink at a super convenience store last Saturday, and that he’d cut off contact with the outside world since last Sunday.

So, nobody can really know for sure, what caused this grad student to commit suicide, and we can only speculate, that it may have been his thesis or dissertation deadlines that’d caused him to feel the stresses, and that he just, couldn’t manage the pressures, or that maybe it was, a relationship that failed that’s caused him to take his own life, we can’t really know, because there was, NOTHING left by this grad student, for us, to guess at WHAT made him kill himself………
