Oftentimes, she felt like a total failure, she couldn’t even, control the smallest things that happens in her life, like for this very moment, she’d just, turned on the computer, she couldn’t, start, and eat her candies anymore. She’d made a pact with herself: never to touch the game again. Moving the same colors to line up, four pieces of candy, connected, into a stripe candy, lining them up vertically, they’d become, a candy bomb………it’s not real candy, it’s the online game, “Candy Crush”, that everyone around her is playing too.
Already agreed: to not invest all her emotions, into his courteousness, without the flirtations. She’d understood that. But, she couldn’t help, but fantasize, that something, WAS between her and him, outside of business. Daydreams lasted into the nights, seeing him, lying, on her single bed, their noses touched, they’d, stared into one another’s eyes. Their hearts raced, and both were, wide awake, she’d felt a bit shy, a little, disappointed, the very next day, they’d not even, dared, to look at one another, and yet, the memories of the previous night all came flying back, when he’d, accidentally, touched her fingertips.
stuck, without knowing, how, to get back up again!!! Not my artwork…
Already agreed: to never get mad over work. Still lost her control. Before the events, they’d, discussed it again, and again, and confirmed over and over again too, she couldn’t understand, how it was, that her coworkers were all, very, easily persuaded in the meetings, to give the leading role to the factory, the factory just wanted to get the services cheap, and, the manufacturing deal is, all dependent on the giving and taking on their side, they’d even put up the excuse of how the work can’t be done on time, asking them, to change their designs, seeing how her drafted-up plans are about, to go up in flames, she’d slapped the tables hard, gotten up, started screaming, “You can carry on in this meeting, I won’t be a part of it anymore!”, and, as everybody was still, trying to, overcome their shocks, she’d, walked out the doors. As she got outside into the hallways, she’d, stopped, not knowing what she’s to do next.
She’d been stuck, on the same levels for days now. Whenever she’d thought about it, she’d turned on the games, and, rearranged the candies without any methodologies, and, just kept seeing that “Fail” screen popping up, kept pressing the “game restart” button, until she spent all of her lives. And, as she’d played on, she’d, gotten angered, “Shit! Why can I just, get past this level?”
She couldn’t, pass through the challenges before her, it was, upsetting. During that time, nothing was, working right for her, no matter who she’d worked with, she just couldn’t, successfully, manage, to get her proposals to pass, she’d changed and changed the proposals, but, the person whom she’d presented to, just kept, tossing and tossing it back to her to rework again and again, “This won’t work, you need to, think again over the strategies.”, she couldn’t figure out, what, the problem was.
just can’t seem to get past this level for some reasons…picture from online…
The person she went on a blind date said it was, her problem. Her friend had, set her up with someone who’s not a stay-at-home geek, or a mama’s boy, after the date, she’d thought about it thoroughly; should I, try dating him? But, as her friend who’d set her up called her, she’d told her: that the man thought that they were, too identical, that he wasn’t planning, on starting a relationship, with anybody. What, does that mean? If he didn’t want to start a relationship, then, why did he, show up for the blind date? But, all she can do, was to smile, in silence.
Some of the failures, were, self-made, she’d not even, seen the missions clearly, until it was all over, did she realize, that she’d not, managed, to pass even the easiest levels.
It seems, that this time, it’s, another, fail again. And, as she’d thought just that, she’d found, the right combo, and the games began, and, the candies on the screen started, glowing, followed by the white line, shooting straight through the screens, and the sound of the white lines firing off sounded like the cannons being shot out. The challenges came out of nowhere, and, she’d, passed through the levels, without knowing how she’d done it. And this, is a momentum she had, once she was able to pass through her current level, everything that followed was easy, before she’d understood what’d just happened, she’d, arrived at the next level. And, with her days, going so easy for her, she’d felt, a bit, like she’d, cheated, it wasn’t something she did, it was just, that everything around her, fell into the rightful places.
and that, is what it feels like…not my photo.
She would always, get, misled, into believing, that she’d had it made since, until the next time, she felt, beaten again.
So, you do see, how this, is a vicious cycle that this woman is stuck in, right? And, she’d not done anything, just waited for things, to work themselves out for her, because she knew, that everything will eventually, work out, for her, like it always had, because that, was the pattern of her life, brought on, by her own attitude toward her life.
